Washington DC, USA
18-19 May, 2022

“Packed with many interesting talks and the list of speakers has just been excellent. It’s been a great pleasure!”

Axel Schröper

Mission

To realize the full value of data, privacy and security concerns must be addressed. This is critical for data-driven projects to happen, including initiatives in which sensitive data is being processed, monetized, bought, sold, shared, aggregated, or analyzed.

Privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) are new approaches that organizations can deploy to access and manage sensitive data for business functions - making previously unfeasible projects possible in 2022!

As well, they reduce the chance of data breaches and can ensure that data is not misused, even when data is exported, decentralized, or migrated to the cloud.

However, adopting PETs is not easy. Many PET projects fail to make it out of the proof-of-concept stage, but the ones that do have huge returns.

The Second Privacy-Enhancing Technology Summit North America is here to give clarity on the different types of PETs and the strategic, legal, technical, and commercial considerations when using them. This is so they can be used to their full power including to:

  • Enable sensitive data to be used to its full extent so that organizations can reach their strategic goals.
  • Enhance data security so that data breaches never happen, no matter where the data is being processed.
  • Facilitate compliance with varying and evolving data regulations.
